Artfest Toronto at the Distillery August 2-4 2014

Main Attraction!

Artfest Toronto is this weekend at the Historic Distillery District. We started an Artfest News sign up form awhile ago, and have had an overwhelming response! Thank you for your interest in our events. I promise to keep Artfest News interesting and brief.

There is lots going on at Artfest this weekend. The main attraction at the event is our amazing artists and artisans exhibiting from all over Ontario and Quebec. The artists love the Distillery- with its' great ambiance created by the ancient cobblestone lanes, the expansive main square and the industrial relics hidden away in all of the buildings.

We have many new exhibitors at this show to see: Wood turner Paul Guilbeault, Jewellery by Colleen Poitras, Destellos Glass Art, Illustrator- Birds with Words, Baby Wrappers for young moms, Sculpture by Irene Sirko and Carlos Bonilla, and a number of stellar new painters....to name a few.

K.O.O.L. Designs- handy totes and bags created from recycled feed bags is one of my favorites. Sounds weird, but they are really cool. Sarah is new to the show scene and very outgoing. She would love to tell you about her new product~ very affordable too. Booth D9 right by Balzacs Cafe.

Free Arts Programming

Artfest at the Distillery is very pleased to offer free Arts Programming for the entire family. Guest mural artist Arthur II will be onsite creating a 20ft mural with YOUR help! At the end of the weekend, utilizing the rich layers of textured paint and colour, he will create imagery and transform the mural into a beautiful work of art.
